Ride along

I’m in school right now with criminal justice as my major, I have 1 year left. I’m interested in doing ride alongs with different agency’s to see if county or state is a better fit. What are the dress code requirements for being a ride along as a woman and what are the procedures during it? Any other advice is welcomed and appreciated. Tia!
