for me it was 1-2 weeks because I was home alone, played video games and watched Netflix, It lined up with a event that required a ton of grinding so i was basically an incel for those weeks. I’ll tell you what, that shower felt like i became a new man, best shower ever.
the second time was because of my was because of my wisdom teeth removal., got all 4 removed at once and the dentist said the roots were very long.

12 days. Was on a backpacking trip in Yellowstone.
3-4 days due to a camping trip? Idk, I hate the feeling of being dirty or sweaty, so I shower basically every day.
4 days, i was ill and could barely stand up…
2 months. Depression.
5 days, I had Covid and couldn’t really move. Left my bed to go to the toilet and to get some snacks only
21 days. Was on deployment and building forward bases. No running anything, but we got a few dozen packs of Germ-X disinfecting wipes and a class on what we had to officially call the “Clorox Shower” but became lovingly refered to as the “hobo wipe down”.
Probably 4-5 days, it was during Covid lockdown and we were housebound and miserable. “Oh I’ll just have one tomorrow” went on for way longer than it should’ve.
I actually started showering before bed to get myself out of that rut, and it’s way better.
I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to do stuff, whereas before that a shower was just one more thing I needed to do before going out.
4-5 weeks. I had broken my leg and it was agonizing to even move. I had to wait 3 weeks for surgery scheduling. Then it wasn’t another 3 days to get out of the hospital and be in the clear. We also didn’t have a walk-in shower and I had to go to my friends’. I would have had to bend my knee to get in. I gave myself sponge baths but it was AWFUL. I could not move an ounce of my lower body without sobbing in pain. I swear there’s an aura around your skin that lingers and makes you feel completely miserable. That shower & hair wash was a godsend. I felt sooo much better I cried tears of joy.
Count your blessings. A shower is one of life’s luxuries.
3 days. Then I can smell myself & I gotta bathe
Ugh, I have everyone beat by a bit. At least a half year. I was a homeless teen in a place that didn’t have homeless resources.
2 months- cold boarding high school
4 weeks. ADHD and depression while busy working from home one winter. I think that will stay my personal best because I don’t want to let myself get to that place again.
7 weeks- surgery recovery
A week I think? I had covid pretty bad, and I was too weak and exhausted to move.
2 days in a camping trip
Technically 6 weeks due to a broken leg. But of course I washed myself sill during this period.
Really no washing, showering or bathing, about a week.
I went a week I think it was….could have been closer to 2.
I had a significant thing happen and I was very depressed. I wasn’t even eating or drinking until someone fed me. So showering didn’t even occur to me.
Most of the time I will not go for more than 2 days un-showered.
A couple days recently after heart surgery. A couple weeks decades ago in Desert Storm.
A week of army reserve exercise. The shower when we got into base was one of the best feelings of my life.
2 weeks, depression.
Ten days, crossing the Serengeti in an overland truck.
The bath I had when we got to Bukoba on the other side of Lake Victoria ended up mud brown.
