Not sure if it’s everywhere but in Southern Nevada we have Clark county school district police and I was wondering what the job itself entitles if there are other departments that have something similar?

My first department was for a district police here in CA. It’s pretty much as it sounds. Patrol the school district, for us it was K-12. We mainly had SRO assigned to the 5 HS and everyone else was either doing traffic control in the mornings and after class was out. Anything that needed more than school security, such as drugs, weapons, and welfare checks for students. We would responded too. Great experience to start off my career but it got tiring real fast.
