Hello everyone,
Yesterday, I discovered that there was a mix-up between the clinic and the lab regarding my girlfriend’s preeclampsia risk results. My girlfriend, who is 28 years old, was mistakenly given results from a 39-year-old woman. Based on these incorrect results, we were told that she was at very high risk for preeclampsia. As a result, for the past four weeks, she has been taking medication to regulate her blood pressure, which was apparently high, when in fact, her health has been perfectly fine.
This whole mess has caused her a lot of anxiety, and stressed. As I mentioned before , it turns out that she’s in great health, which leaves us questioning what steps, if any, we should take next.
Would it be advisable to pursue legal action, or should we simply accept the clinic and lab’s apology and move on? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your input!

Barring significant physical problems for her or the child yes. You’re free to complain up the channel but it’s mostly no harm no foul
