Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but anyways.
I recently got into a car accident and damaged my car. I’m selling it on Facebook Marketplace and have a buyer. I’m currently located in Greensboro, NC. However, I don’t have the car’s title with me, it’s with my parents in GA under my Dad’s name.
I know to sell my car we have to do a title transfer, but I’m not sure how to do that in this situation. Can my Dad just sign it and then mail it to me? And then me and the buyer go to the DMV so the seller signs it? And then the title’s transferred?
