Should I steal first class toiletry bags on my way out?

r/

Obviously, I don’t fly first class, but sometimes on my way out I see these really nice branded toiletry bags being left behind (totally unopened) and I’m just super tempted to steal one.

I know these bags are already “used” so it’s not really stealing, but is this a good idea?

Yeah, if they’re being left behind the there’s literally no harm done. It’s more like cleaning up, not stealing, because they’re probably being thrown away anyway.

No problem with doing so, they might have tags in the lining to prevent theft…

Just ask 1 of the cabin crew if you can take 1 when leaving. If they’re only going to get thrown out then you shouldn’t have a problem getting permission.

Technically, it’s theft even if it’s rubbish, its still property. but I can’t see an airplane going to the trouble to challenge you over it.
