I go to work. I wear clothes. I come home, it’s not ideal time to shower. So I put on a more comfy set of clothes.
Before bed I shower. What do I do with the second pair of clothes? Are they dirty ? Or are they in between phases ??
I’ve been washing two outfits each day and losing my mind over it. No way others do the same.
What do you do with the home clothes you wear post work before shower ?

Aren’t you putting them on when you’re dirty after the day? That makes them dirty.
I throw them on top of the hamper and wear them the next night. Then, put them inside the hamper.
Yes, they’re dirty, especially if you’re working a physical job where you’ll get dirty and/or sweaty. Everything that was on your skin while wearing work clothes will rub off on your casual clothes. If you don’t like sleeping nude or in underwear only, it’d be good to invest in some pajamas or sweats that you wear exclusively in bed; it means an extra change of clothes, but it shouldn’t be too bad.
As for laundry, why do you need to wash clothes daily? Is there some reason you can’t collect dirty clothes in a hamper or basket and do laundry once or twice a week?
My husband does the same. He saves them on the side for the next day and wears them again. We have kids and already do too much laundry as it is. If you’re just lounging at home, just keep using them as “in between” clothes for a couple days before they go into the hamper. It’s fine.
The only clothes I will wear once is underwear, t-shirt and socks. I will wear jeans and dress pants multiple times. Button down and pull over shirts usually at least twice. Maybe more. Unless I had a particularly active/rough day, I won’t shower every day.
Just shower when you get home from work. Problem solved.
It depends on what you do for work? Meeting clients all day/ sweaty greasy job -> dirty
If not and you just work in an office / minimal interaction with others I would say you can wear them around the house put them in your laundry basket and wear them again for a few days until you wash them
