SML deserved to be demonized for the 3rd time

For those unfamiliar with who SML is it’s a YouTube a puppet channel that used to make videos with Mario plushies and they now use puppets with slightly altered names to use for the same Mario characters after a cease and desist from Nintendo. For the past 8 years they been facing issues with YouTube and Nintendo’s rules. Every time he gets hit with a punishment from YouTube he just starts an alt account and doesn’t change anything and expects YouTube to just let it go. YouTube is on their ass because they make videos that aren’t something kids should be watching despite their videos attracting kids. I say they attract kids because while sml always talks about how “his own” puppets aren’t kids friendly however they look like toys. Any kid scrolling on YouTube and sees one of his thumbnails will likely be pulled in from the thumbnail, this especially was an issue when they were using Nintendo plushies since kids would be seeing videos with characters from a video game they play on an SML video. Making videos that aren’t for kids but attract kids isn’t the biggest problem. There are lots of tv shows movies and YouTubers who make videos that aren’t for kids yet kids would want to watch them. However most of them take responsibility about it. South Park for example is a show no child should be watching yet their animation style could bring kids to want to watch it so everyone who runs that show takes responsibility about that by having every episode begin with a disclaimer that no kids should watch it, Comedy Central airs South Park late at night and never when kids would be watching tv, and South Park isn’t gonna show up on a kids profile in Netflix or whatever streaming service it’s on. Sure SML doesn’t show up in YT kids but that app is for like 4 year olds not 10 year olds. SML could at least make it clear his videos aren’t for kids and make the thumbnails less attractive to kids but instead he bitches about how it’s all on the parents however a parent could see those thumbnails with those characters and could see no problems until their kids been watching it for a while and puts it on full blast on their iPads they finally realize there’s a problem.
