Notice they suddenly dominated the news right after the election when TV news audiences suddenly plummeted. And then when Trump’s crazy cabinet picks started coming out, they stopped.
People were told there were drones flying around. People saw them. Lots of people. Did they see them because they were real or because they expected to see them? Enquiring minds want to know.
All I know is a friend of a friend, who has security clearance, wasn’t allowed to comment on those even without anyone in the conversation having brought up government actions.
I just hope it was an FBI operation, not an NSA one
Nobody ever managed to show clear footage of one of these drones that couldn’t be pinned down to a plane or helicopter, so people moved on from the hysteria and since people moved on the media moved on too.
The current administration gave some weird justification about it actually being “research drones” but I’m willing to bet they did so purely to give a different answer than the one the previous administration gave that there was really nothing out of the ordinary and people were just being paranoid.

They were FAA sanctioned flights , end of story. All those conspiracy theory news media outlets don’t want a report they got it wrong 🤷🏾♂️

A few turned out to be DOD etc testing drones and counter surveillance tech, it largely died down after that.
