Sometimes I wish if you hadn’t seen people in a long enough time, you both just forgot about each other

If enough time has passed, it should all just kind of fade away. Especially when you’ve become strangers to each other, why can’t you just be actual strangers? That awful baggage and awkwardness when you run into each other, the fact that somebody you now have nothing to do with knows so much about you, is so off putting
