Hey guys, I didn’t really know who to ask so I figured why not ask reddit. I’m thinking of writing my essay about how I used to apply chapstick every 10 minutes because my lips genuinely would get dry if I didn’t. I thought something was wrong with me, like I physically needed it to function normally.
Eventually, I stopped cold turkey. It was uncomfortable at first, but after a few days, my lips went back to normal. That’s when I realized the chapstick was the problem all along — I just couldn’t see it. It taught me a lot about false dependency, control, and how letting go of what feels safe is sometimes the only way to move forward.
Too weird of a topic, or could it actually work? Be brutally honest

I think this is great. A little silly, but it drew me in and I am interested.
i think it’s very good! it’s creative which is what a lot of admission officers want in an essay. it’s also humorous which is a good impression to leave.
I give it an F for Fantastic
Keep up the momentum when you write, and you’ll be fine. Your thoughts are in the right direction. See if there is any research to support your experience, which would further strengthen the overall topic of discussion.
It’s great!! In fact, you might get copycats. I would delete this post!
