Okay, I’ll be honest and upfront, Spirit ain’t the best, but they aren’t bad. I’ve never had a delay, everyone working for them from check-in to plane staff have been great. I had a flight I missed because of a train delay, you know what happened? The lady said, “well you need to get there, let me see what I can do.” She moved my ticket to the next flight, and assured me, “we’ll get you there, that’s what we do.” Are the planes a little cramped? Sure, but I also flew cross country for $73 versus the next airline being almost $300. Do they add a bunch of charges if you are bringing extra stuff, yes, but they let you know that upfront. I’ve never had any issue with them, and I use them 20-30 times a year. I use other airlines, too, my preferred is Delta, but when I’m just looking for a cheap flight on short notice, Spirit is my go-to.

Spirit is $100 bucks to get wherever for a reason.
Sure it’s just a flying Greyhound but no one gets on expecting a good time. Budget airlines have their place, people just want luxury for nothing.
I flew Spirit once and it literally felt like flying on a tin can. Never again.
Oh, because you’ve never had a delay they’re fine. I’ll ignore the fact that they left me stranded in a different city and I had to find my own way home with no assistance. My bad.
Spirit and Frontier are cheap for a reason and sometimes you just need a super cheap flight to get somewhere
My whole thing is the waiting until you board to check the size of your bags
They obviously do this on purpose to force you to pay more when you’re in a rush to get on the flight.
I like that the big front seats aren’t priced like business class
I agree with this opinion. It’s tolerable
The lower ticket price invites a lower quality clientele, and thats ok. The only thing that bothers me is spirit flights never have phone chargers
Stop normalizing budget airlines and start campaigning to bring back cruise ships tbh
