You might instantly argue “no they are all woman from birth”, but no exactly, from what i’ve seen of steven universe lore they are genderless and only identify themselves with the feminine gender. So i am wondering, why that many gems is there the possibility of a gem being born who does not want to be called a she but a he and tries to portray it’s own image as more manly? i mean they might be affected by human culture has some gems have been living with humans and have been aware of male humans, they might just want to be a man for whatever reason. It’s not like a gem is born wanting to be a woman or something, at least i think. Even if there are no current male identifying gems, if a gem was created specifically with the purpose of identifying as male would it happen?
