Sylvester Stallone is seen from the mass as a legendary hollywood personality but mainly related to brainless action movies. The truth is that he’s the opposite. Rocky 1 for example isn’t a movie about fighting, it’s a movie about two common people loving and supporting each other, in my opinion one of the best love story’s depiction of the last decades. Again, people identify Rambo with the ripped Stallone with 2 rifles killing alone whole armies. In reality Rambo 1 is a deep movie about our society, not only the US one, and the silent discomfort that lie inside the soul of many.
Stallone isn’t an action muppet, he’s a great poet that talks the same language of common people and reality.

U can understand him??? How
Yeah, he wrote his first movie and fought to be the star to the point of walking away from the studio, he took a massive cut to be the star and then it jump started his career. Then he got his dog back.
Of all the action meat heads of the 70s,80s and 90s Stallone is definitely the true artist out of the group. Definitely the best actor too.
Sylvester Stallone is the most underrated artist in Hollywood history.
Dolph Lundgren has a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney. He also received a Fulbright Scholarship to study at MIT.
This is fair. Those early films had substance. He has been involved in plenty of utter shite too though, so I guess it pays to be picky about roles if you can afford to be.
It’s like watching De Niro do bad comedies and KIA ads… I wish they’d just stop.
