Let me start by saying Grief is a powerful emotion and that compels people to do a variety of things going from tame to straight up weird. I understand why some do it, but that don’t mean I don’t think it was weird.
Like if someone told me Bibbles passed away and they feel terrible about it, my friend, we will share that burden together. I will go with you down the path you need to take, because you’re my friend. We in this together.
But if I go to your house and see Bibbles on a shelf all lifelike chilling, I’m going to side-eye you bro. That’s all, by all means do what you gotta do but I’ll still find it weird.
We’re still cool, you’re still my friend. You just happened to do something I find weird. You get me?

Sorry, this is unpopular?
Completely agree
I agree it’s morbid – but I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with any taxidermy.
Extremely popular opinion.
Fine, pets are weird.
But what about getting Grandma taxidermied and placing her by the second floor window so she can eternally judge people walking up & down the street?
