I mean, sure, he may have turned half of Dressrosa’s popultion into toys and enslaved an entire race of human adjacent creatures, alongside killing thousands and threatening to murder more, but let’s be real here, was he that bad? I mean, the economy was BOOMING. Like it blew up! Prices were down, and although we were threatened with war and my wife got turned into a Raggedy Ann doll, that was really a small price to pay. King Riku isn’t doing a great job, there’s a big wave coming, and only the Donquijote ship could’ve rode it out.
