During Empire of the Cats, the cats are trying to take over Earth and the moon. In the Into the Future chapter, the cats travel to the far future (900 years from now) to stop an alien invasion of Earth and the moon). In Cats of the Cosmos, after defeating the alien invasion the cats spread to the stars where they encounter and conquer more powerful aliens. Then in the Aku Realms the Empress’ research had managed to open portals to another world where evil Aku creatures have Aku Altars that weaken the Cats but in order to conquer the new worlds they push forward and destroy the Altars and the assorted Aku leaders who serve the Lord of Ruin.
