Before I get into the film, I will say that it is not AS bad as most of these new superhero films, but it just feels the same.
I left the theatre walking away with absolutely nothing – can’t remember the plot, people’s names, villain’s motivation, any particularly good shots or scenes. Nothing.
From what I do remember, Superman didn’t even act like Superman and we barely saw Clark Kent.
I get that these films are cash cows, but this industry has been ruined and saturated by these ultra-expensive, low-quality, low-effort productions.

What is your experience with Superman? Because this was the most comic accurate Supes I have ever seen. Same with Lex Luthor, why does he hate Superman? Because he is the Big Blue Boy Scout and the antithesis to Lex.
The ridiculous over the top portrayal of Lex Luthor took me out of the movie. I almost walked out when he was calling out the attacks on Superman – A5—D7

Why did you bother going to watch it if they’re all the same? Seems a waste of money.
That’s par the norm for superhero movies though. They are fun to watch at the time but completely forgettable once you left the cinema.
