The “usefulness” of intelligence scales logarithmically. There is a minimum value required for you to achieve success – the rest is how hard you are willing to work.

As intelligence gets higher, the practical applications and usefulness of it diminish greatly. It will still help you in many scenarios – you might come to solutions slightly quicker than others, but not much more.

Once you pass a certain threshold, your success is determined by how hard you are willing to work, and your intelligence will determine how quickly / efficiently you will get the job done.
