The woman with the desk next to me is interested in her appearance and throughout the day does her eyes, applies lotion, no perfume. I’m from a smaller family and do most maintenance in the bathroom. Is she doing anything unusual?

Yeah in my book applying eyeshadow and such is a bit odd in an office.
It’s a little unusual to do it as her desk as the light might be bad and the risk of making a mess could cause substantial problems, but touching up makeup through the day is not unusual.
It is considered old fashioned to find that rude despite the fact that it is rude. Sometimes it bothers me too. I never say anything.
