everything has been done already. everything has been at its peak and it can only go downhills now. phones being the same every damn year. cars getting uglier and uglier but faster? in 20 years you’d be able to do 0-60 in 2 seconds with a 200hp car that looks like a tv remote. also don’t get me started on the cheap shit they’re putting into everything for profit.
everyone tries to be better for the sake of their egos when there’s no need for that. they need to take a fucking chill pill and BREATHE and realize that not everything is that serious. stop the fucking planet.

People of the stone age couldn’t imagine the iron age. People of the iron age couldn’t imagine the age of technology.
Are you kidding??? Read a science, tech or computer magazine or website.
There is stuff that we are constantly working on but haven’t reached yet. Cheap gimmicky stuff doesn’t last anyway, but real leaps in technology come every few years. The dam smart phone didn’t exist when I was in high school, electric cars were novelty items, tablets didn’t exist in their current form.
I think in terms of personal needs, we’ve spent the last 20 years chasing efficiency to the peak. We’re at the point where it’s just incremental changes making things faster and a little smarter. Unless quantum physics somehow opens up new doors like anti-aging or teleportation or aliens bring that to us, I think finding happiness and solitude in your own life is a good thing to look for.
I think this way in terms of sports. We’re at the point where athletes are training from the point they can walk. The only way they’ll get better is through CRISPR or genetic freaks like Wemby who is a big man with the footwork of a guard and the knowledge that he needs to keep his feet flexible and strong to keep himself injury free. How are you going to train someone in 20 years to be better than that? He’s been training himself since he was like 7.
I mainly agree with you when it comes to personal tech like TV’s and cars, but you should watch Cleo Abrams on Youtube. She has a lot of positivity around future tech and advancements people are making. Definitely recommend.
