Think my job is violating the FSLA. What can I do?

Location: Arkansas.

My co worker and I recently discovered that we’ve been getting charged more than 40 hours a week of “Regular time” on our paystubs. When questioned our boss replied that “Travel time does not count towards overtime.”, traveling being flying out of the state for work.

We looked it up and think that that’s illegal. Is it? What’s our next step if it is?

What do you mean you’re getting “charged” for hours beyond 40 hours per week? Are you hourly or salary, and are you employees or independent contractors?
