I had to pee really bad during an after school function I think I was in 4th grade. My mom was in the PTA and I was unable to get to the facilities because it was like 8pm and everything was locked (the kids bathrooms, I have no idea about the adult ones because I didn’t know where they were). I was alone and got my ass up on a sink and peed in the closest sink to me. I peed my pants so many times from kindergarten to first grade I was determined to never do it again.
In second grade, I had a couple of finches as pets, and they had babies. My parents wanted to rehome the chicks, so I told my friend about it and she asked for one. My parents called her parents, who said no. I didn’t want to disappoint my friend, so I took a feather and put it in a pencil box with a little nest and some food and such. I told my friend that the feather was the baby bird.
We were only seven and she was unfortunately very gullible and totally believed me. She took care of the feather for a full day before someone told her. We’re still friends and she still tells this story to this day 😭
On my 6th birthday, after PE period before the kids came in, I took 1 bite from everyone’s lunch boxes as “birthday tax”. Even the ones i didn’t like. Nobody said anything tho?
I got into a fight in 5th grade. We used to be friends, but then she started talking sh!t about another friend of mine. And the crazy thing is, all I did was ask her to stop. She shoved me. I shoved back. And the next thing I know, hall staff walk in to see her in a headlock while she claws at me while we’re being cheered on by 3rd graders. Safe to say I won, though.
When i was in elementary school aged 7 we had to ask how to go to the toilet in Irish or we weren‘t allowed; i remember peeing in my seat and getting a beating from the master for messing up. I used to hide in the cupboards at home time so that the bullies would think they had missed me until the cleaners found me and i got reported.
Throughout elementary school, I was the only one who was friends with this kid who had Autism. I didn’t really know it at the time, I just thought he was always a little quirky. A lot of people also stopped talking to me because they thought I was gross for talking to him. Kids are mean but when I think of it nowadays, I just wish I had the mindset I have now because of how stupid it all was. I totally would’ve been a lot more feisty about it and nobody would’ve fucked with us.
In 2nd or 3rd grade, he had a cast on his arm. Don’t remember how he broke it. But I was on the blacktop by the hoops outside and he came running over and he grabbed me and hid behind my back. At first I was confused but when I looked over, there were these two 5th grade kids that came up and started walking around me trying to get to him. I just kinda moved out of the way and they pushed him to the ground and spat on him. I didn’t even tell them off, I just stood there. That’s about all I remember. But the thing I remember the most was not sticking up for a friend when he needed it the most.
Tried to run away from school with my best friend in 1st grade. We filled our pockets with birdseed from a sensory table, because we thought we’d be able to pick the sunflower seeds from it to eat and live on.
Breaking and entering, plus petty larceny. Accidentally starting a small brush fire in a vacant lot. But that’s nothing compared to joining a group of boys kicking a girl’s Barbie lunchbox around the playground until it was just pieces. I can still hear her crying and begging us to stop. That was in third grade and I’m 50 now. I wish like hell I could take it back.
Told my friends about how my stepdad tried to kill my mom. Of course they went home and told their parents… so I didn’t really have friends after that 🥲
I was on a catholic primary school. I was in second grade, the teacher was really mean. They would take us to a chapel to pray every day, I told the teacher that I needed to pee and she didn’t let me go. Some hours passed by and she wouldn’t let me go. I pissed in the chappel. I am actually proud of myself and hope to be remembered for that

There was a girl I really didn’t like, so one day I pulled a bug out of my hair and put it into hers while sitting behind her in class one day…
My friend had the idea to forge our mom’s signatures on a gym note so we didn’t have to participate. I let her do it and we caught immediately. Even though I wasn’t the one who signed it, I took the fall for my note. We got suspended for one day for forgery 😂
Actually in elementary school itself? I’ll be totally honest – I can’t think of anything bad at all. I was a really good kid in elementary school because I loved school beyond measure and was a painfully earnest and shy kid who took everything at face value.
My more questionable adventures in independence happened outside of school at that age. I was pretty free-range for most of my childhood, so I had a lot of latitude to make stupid decisions without others being around to enforce additional consequences.
In 6th grade, my friends and I bullied a girl we didn’t like. We made fun of her and played pranks on her, embarrassing her in front of the class. Turned out her mom was schizophrenic and she had problems at home.
As an adult, I found her on Facebook and apologized for the way I treated her. She graciously forgave me and we’ve stayed in touch. She is thriving, happily married, had a big glowup, and seems to be living her best life. I’m so glad she was able to overcome the damage we did.
I wrote fake love notes from one classmate to another and left them in desks. Caused total chaos. Got caught by the teacher and had to apologize in front of the whole class. Brutal.
I promise you I wouldn’t do it now but back when I was in 2nd grade, my now ex friend asked to borrow the socks I wear for soccer practice (like the long ones you know? and yes, they were clean) so I let her since I had 2 pairs. We live in a pretty hot country and it was around noon so it was pretty hot and she got sunburnt pretty badly and joked by saying that she was now black, and I actually with a very confused look in my eyes, asked her : “Weren’t you already?” I promise you, we were pretty much clueless about racism back then and I think I screwed up, she still brings it up when she’s mad at me 😭
In second grade, my twin brother was running all over the playground telling people that my crush and I were being inappropriate (using words our little second grade selves had no business using!). After recess I walked up to him and punched him in the chest so hard he fell to the ground. He started crying and one of my classmates told on me. We ended up in the principal’s office and our mother was called. She was not happy, to say the least, but I was in more trouble because I actually put my hands on him. I still regret that to this day 😅
In fifth grade, my best friend and I both missed our buses and we decided to be sneaky and have a playdate at her house. Her grandpa came and picked us up, I told my grandma she didn’t have to pick me up, and we had a blissful two hours before my friend’s dad came over to me with the phone and said my mom was waiting to talk to me. As soon as I took the phone she said, “I am going to beat your butt.” Immediate tears because I knew she wasn’t joking. Looking back, I knew I was dead wrong for that—they were ready to call the police and report me missing!

When I started 5th grade I was in another teacher’s class. Something happened and my teacher had to leave. They divided her students between two other classes, one of which was this male teacher’s. Of course that was the class they put me in.
I sat at the back of the class, feeling overwhelmed and scared. This teacher scared me. Suddenly, I couldn’t hold it in. I started crying. The teacher was concerned and got the principal involved. They transferred me to another class.
I feel like an asshole. I had no reason to fear that teacher. I don’t know how I made him feel, if anything. But a kid crying in your class because they are scared of you can’t feel good.
I wish I could go back and apologize. He probably wouldn’t remember it, but I feel bad.
I was about 5 or 6 and decided I wanted to go swimming on Pike’s Peak (there is no pool at the top of the mountain, no idea where I got that from) so I woke up at like 5am, managed to get past the child locks on the door, and wandered the neighborhood. I ended up at the local park and an elderly couple picked me up in their camper and fed me some cereal while they waited for the police to arrive. The police took me home and pulled up to my house just as my mom was running out to come look for me, with my grandma on the phone to the police in the background 😂 looking back on it, it’s a miracle I wasn’t kidnapped or killed or something. I just remember it being really good cereal
I once dared my classmate to push the alarm button since both of use had no clue what it does or sound. He did and the whole school evacuated. We both cried.
I bit a girl, I convinced everyone this one girl was friends with them because she was recruiting them into a cult, Some boy had a crush on me so I made him be my servant and told him I’d like him back if he did a good job. I never liked him back 💀 3 other kids and I drew on this boys desk when he was in the bathroom and we told the teacher I was him. Guys I’m a better person now 😭

I broke a window. Not on accident. I was curious to see what would happen so I hit it with a shovel. I think I was 8 or 9 when I did it.
I convinced one of my friends to ditch class with me. We got in huge trouble.
I didn’t get better throughout middle school or high school, things just escalated. I’m a responsible functioning adult now.
