Did everyone who were consumed by the void’s shadow went through the same experience of having shame rooms like Yelena and what is also implied that the other Thunderbolts* members went through? If so, that means the kid who Red Guardian saved that was also consumed by the shadow thing went through the experience, but then why is she shown to be smiling and happy after instead of afraid and crying? And Valentina and all those reporters seem to be fine.
Did they not remember what happened? Why is everyone acting like they didn’t just relive the most traumatic experiences in their lives? Bob didn’t remember anything that happened, but it’s never clearly implied if normal people didn’t.

Maybe they don’t remember like Bob? I go with Thunderbolts remembering , since they were In together.
The buildings collapsing around that little girl’s head that Red Guardian saved probably was her most traumatic experience in her young life. So she probably was stuck in a loop in that scenario, didn’t understand that it wasn’t real world. So she’s relieved when she sees her mom.
Valentina already went through a shame room first time she touched Bob’s hand. She’s also a stone-cold [lady] and probably shook it off pretty quick, especially with the knowledge of what it was.
The reporters are harder to explain. Maybe they just went on autopilot afterwards and kinda just pushed it down? Remember that neither Yelena nor John actually broke down after their first exposure to the Void. And Yelena’s Void room (the forest) is extremely fucked up.
They went though a shame room, which is a shameful experience you lived through in the past. The lived through in the past is the key issue. I can guess what mine would be and while I wouldn’t be happy reliving it, and might go off to the side, I’d be more concerned with being stuck there forever than the actual shaming event.
For a child, it is going to be an event like monsters under the bed or petty theft that shames them. It isn’t going to be that horrible for most of them and you are sitting on the outside. If it is really bad the child could have run to the corner and hid.
Long term exposure would have been a serious issue, but at most they were in there fifteen minutes.
