My school has an examination system for finals, think the exams right before summer or winter break, i don’t natively speak English so forgive me for any text mistakes, the system is so that a grade has specific classes chosen in the school and they have specific days for 1-2 exams each one, some days don’t have exams… see where this is going?
So English isn’t my native language, for some reason nobody knows why, the school chose to make the entire time table for each exam day in ENGLISH, our country has nothing to do with English, but guess it’s my fault for mistaking Wednesday for Tuesday.
Skip to today, I wake up tired, wrapped up in a overweight blanket in A/C, I check the time and I have around 40 minutes left, I was used to it because the last 4 days were non-stop waking up going to exams and going home, I didn’t bother to check if today had an exam, so I eat, get dressed and check that I only have 5 minutes left, so I hurriedly left, I saw where the classes gathered to go to their exam rooms, my grade was nowhere to be seen, so I assumed I was late and went by myself to there, I walked up the stairs and finally see the paper sign saying “Exam rooms 20, 19, 18, 17”, I sigh, then look left where the classes are supposed to be, EMPTY, not a soul…
Embarrassed, praying nobody’s little brother saw me, I walked home alone
TL;DR: I messed up by going to school when it was closed…
