TIFU by learning how to spell therapist

Ok ok so I was on the phone trying to sort out my next therapy appointment when a thought about something

I don’t actually know how to spell the word therapist

I can say the word fine but have no clue how to actually spell the word

It’s not that surprising because to anyone that knows me knows i’m dislexic and I sometimes need to find patterns in words to remember how to spell them

Boi do I think that trying to understand said word was a HUGE mistake

I mean

Yeah

Ok

I can spell it now but… That came with an unfortunate realisation

The realisation that spelling the rapist without the space in the middle will lead you to a therapist (well the act would also probably result in you needing therapy so it’s appropriate I guess but still WTF)

TL;DR

I found out that the word therapist is spelt the rapist and so I’m sharing so y’all can be haunted by this information too
