I have been listening to dedicated by Carly Rae Jepsen every day on my way to work for the last two weeks. Well I heard a weird squeaks every time I turned at the same spots on my road (winding road). The car stopped making the sounds on the way home but it was still bothering me because it was back on the way to work. I checked the wheel well, power steering fluid, steering tie rod. Everything looked ok. The sound continued over 2 weeks. Well today I was folding laundry and none of my podcasts were doing it for me so I turned on my music and there is was the squeak! Well it turns out the first song has a squeak in the background that was literally driving me crazy.
TL:DR listened to the same song every single day on the way to work. A random sound effect in the song made me think something was wrong with my car.

Can relate. I drive an old car and hear stuff like that from the radio ALL THE DAMNED TIME. There was someone talking about a video game yesterday, and they played some beeps and boops and I really thought something in my car broke.
This is (kinda?) me like I love listening to anime op’s so I have the chainsawman opening in my playlist and towards the end there’s a background sound that sounds awfully similar to my doorbell ( I get spooked because of it every damn time lol) and my family is a bit impatient with the doorbell if not answered to immediately so I just end up going to the door to check just in case

Was listening to a podcast that used some kind of a raspy bang noise for topic changes. I pulled over and checked under my car to see what the banging noise was.
Was gonna put the car on the jack to get a better look when I got home…. then I heard the noise sitting still with the car off. Doh
happens to me all the time. just today dua lipa’s song from Barbie came on, and there was a weird little “hih” sound whenever she sang the last line of the chorus. it was driving me insane
I hate when I’m driving and an ad comes on the radio with a horn or a siren. I jump, slow down and look around then start swearing when I realize. There oughta be a law…

This morning I was driving to work in silence because I couldn’t be sure that sound I was hearing was the music or not but it sounded like a bowl of pennies rattling around. I was almost at work when my dumb ass realized it was the ice in my mug.
Mine is currently the remastered version of hungry like the wolf by Duran Duran. There’s a lady at the end of the song that sounds to me sometimes like a kitten meowing. I felt pretty dumb looking for a lost or trapped kitty lol.
