TIFU by making fun of my friends pizza slice

TIFU by making fun of my friends pizza. So me and my group of friends were having lunch at our college dining hall just like we would any other day. One friend, ill call him justin, picked a slice of buffalo chicken pizza. This specific type of pizza is well known at our college as being the worst thing there and also the least appetizing looking thing there. Justin always gets this type and every time i say it looks gross, but it was nothing like this one. This slice was from another world. When i say it was the most obscenely vile slice of pizza ive ever seen im not overexaggerating. It looked like if you puked on a wet piece of bread and then imagined that while having a stroke. I mean i couldn’t even tell what i was looking at. It looked like someone dropped on the floor and everyone stepped on it multiple times it was so disgusting i couldn’t even look at it without gagging.
when justin came to our table with the pizza, before he even sat down i broke out with laughter at how nasty and pathetic the pizza slice was. When i started laughing it created a domino effect of every single one of our friends started dying of laughter and just making fun of how insanely bad the slice looked. Justin was smiling when i was laughing, but when everyone else started laughing his smile slowly faded away. He started getting angry and telling everyone to stop laughing. He got so upset to the point where he left the table without even taking the pizza with him. When he came back I was he was yelling at us and slamming the table because we wouldn’t stop making fun of this pizza slice. He even starting elbowing and hitting people if they took a picture of the pizza. Justin has had freakouts over small things in the past so this wasnt unusual but they have never been to this degree.
I kept trying to assure him that we were not making fun of him personally because we werent, we were making fun of this pizza slice. Its been almost 2 days and he is still mad at us and typing paragraphs worth of complaints because we keep sending pictures of the pizza. His reasoning for being so mad is that we always say the pizza is nasty every time he gets it and he thinks we are personally shitting on him for it. But we never make fun of him personally for getting it we make fun of the pizza itself. he so mad that when i try to talk to him about it and remind him we aren’t making fun of him he ignores me and keeps complaining. And now our group chat conversations only consist of making fun of this pizza, and because of justins reaction he is starting to be made fun of personally which i never wanted.

TL;DR: i made fun of a really gross pizza slice my friend got and sent him into a spiral of anger because it made my whole friend group laugh.
