So I was staying at this hotel and decided to microwave some eggs I brought from home I thought it would be fine I put them in a bowl added water and started the microwave After a minute there was a loud pop The eggs exploded everywhere The microwave was a mess and it smelled terrible I panicked and opened the window with a towel to try and air it out Housekeeping came by later and I pretended nothing happened but the smell was so strong I am pretty sure they knew I had to keep the window open for hours just to make it breathable and even then the stench lingered on my clothes and in my hair I eventually checked out a day early because I could not take the smell anymore and I was too embarrassed to face the staff again
TLDR I microwaved eggs in a hotel room they exploded and made the room smell like a rotten volcano I had to leave early out of shame

When i microwaved an egg when i was like 10 and didn’t know better, it blew the door to the microwave open and yes, it smelled BAD! That was a long long time ago.
You’re one of those people that boils fish in the rooms coffee pot…
who tf brings an egg with them to a hotel room from home? I might be able to understand it if it were from the local store but from home?
The breakfast bar in super 8 Madison west had a sign that says something like please do not microwave the hard boiled eggs as it will be ugly, trust us
I did this as a child, but I put a bowl over it on top of a plate. It actually didn’t explode until immediately after I opened the door. The bowl was launched out of the microwave and the plate shattered.
I’m kinda shocked they didn’t charge you a cleaning fee.
I feel like this is AI written.
Who the heck would bring an egg with them to a hotel room?
If you want to cook an egg in a microwave. You crack it, put in a microwavable bowl, add butter, stir it well, and cook for 2 minutes.
First off, why on earth are you carrying around raw eggs from home? Just hardboil the damn things before you leave to eat as a snack or get fresh ones at a local store. Were you just touting a carton of raw eggs in your luggage or something?
Secondly, not microwaving eggs is literally microwave 101. Like this is the one of the first things anyone has used a microwave would have known. At least so I thought…
You’re lucky you didn’t blow the door off.
Um, no. You didn’t.
