So, I have most definitely been suffering every time I had sex for the last decade. I just thought condoms always caused a stinging sensation, and that it was normal. Oh man, was I wrong.
For context, I am a 30 year old woman, and am also very promiscuous, so I have had quite a bit of sex in my life, and every time, it would cause a stinging sensation that often lingered for quite a while after the act was done. I always just thought that was normal.
About 3 months ago, my friend with benefits told me I should get some condoms of my own to keep at my house, and he suggested getting latex free ones so that any guys I have sex with wouldn’t have an excuse not to use them.
Fast forward to last Tuesday, and I’m messing around with a new guy that I’m seeing. We end up doing the deed with one of the latex free condoms, and I notice the distinct lack of the stinging sensation in my nether regions. It was at this moment that I realized that condoms shouldn’t sting, and I could have been having way better sex this entire time.
TL;DR: Condoms should not cause a stinging sensation, and if they do, you may have a latex allergy.

I did the same as a man, you may be allergic to Bananas too as there is a correlation between banana and latex allergies.
Honey. It’s like finding out a dress you thought was silk is actually polyester, it stings when you expected smooth luxury!
Was positive this was gonna be a OF adverisement… still suspicious…
That’s what I tell ever girl too bro
girl you just unlocked a whole new level of pleasure and i’m so happy for you… welcome to pain-free sex, we’ve been waiting 💕
You’re not alone. It also took me a couple decades to figure that one out too.
I developed a latex allergy a few years ago…found out in the midst of blowing up 150 balloons for my children, and powered through. Used a balloon pump after that, and forgot about it completely. Until I hooked up with a guy a month or so later and phoned my doctors crying the next day because it was absolute agony down there. I couldn’t imagine going through that for years 😳
Well damn. That’s a long time. It took me 1 year to figure out I was allergic to condoms.
I found out about my latex allergy when using a latex rubber toy I had had for years. The minute it made contact with my mucus membranes there was burning, itching, and swelling.
Lol I’m so sorry it took you this long!! I figured out I’m allergic to latex and spermicide during my promiscuous teens. Sending love to you during this new journey of fun
When I became sexually active, I ended up getting almost nonstop UTIs and yeast infections. My gynecologist kept telling me I was fine and that nothing seemed to be causing them. Once I switched to latex free condoms, thanks to a recommendation from a friend, they completely stopped and I haven’t had any of those issues in years. I was very frustrated that my doctor never suggested that was a possibility.
Omg! I have a latex allergy too… you never realise how many things are latex based!
My old roommate didn’t know he had an allergy to latex until he broke up with his girlfriend and dated someone that wasn’t taking birth control. It was bad. He sat in the bathtub sobbing for over an hour.
I always got latex free condoms just in case to avoid any unknown latex allergy issue. I wasnt trying to get cock blocked by latex lol
For years since my childhood I’ve gotten canker sores inside my mouth, little recesses that turn white and hurt badly. Sometimes large, sometimes small. I didn’t realize until my 30’s that the outside factor was SLS in toothpaste, if I didn’t rinse properly and some sat in my mouth I’d get a sore. No more SLS in my toothpaste no more sores. It took decades to figure out.
