So, I (29M) just committed the ultimate “Why the f*** did my mouth do that?” moment.
Been seeing this girl for about 6 weeks. It’s chill, we’re hanging out, hooking up, no pressure. Then last night, after an amazing date, we’re in bed, everything’s perfect… and out of nowhere, my dumbass brain goes, “Love you.”
She freezes. Stares at me like I just proposed. Then, in the most awkward tone imaginable, “…What?”
I immediately backpedal
“Uh, I mean, love… THIS… Like, the vibe and the pizza we had earlier was great. Yeah…”
Now I’m in full damage control.
