TIFU by thinking i had a headset dent, but it was actually a head injury

ive been using gaming headsets for years. one day i noticed a dent on the top of my head and immediately assumed it was from the headset. i took a break from wearing it, thinking the dent would go away. it didnt. i kept checking every few days, still there. started to get mildly concerned. then i remembered something from elementary school—back in 4th grade, i fell down a flight of stairs at school and hit my head. got the gash fixed up, but me, my mom, and my doctor never bothered to check if i had a dent. now im realizing the dent has probably been there ever since, and i can no longer go bald.

tl;dr: assumed a dent in my head was from years of headset use. turns out i just hit my head falling down stairs in 4th grade and didnt notice i had a dent.
