I spent all afternoon chopping, mixing and carefully following recipes. I put the main course in the oven and got distracted by a work call. Use the timer on your oven. It has an alarm. You can even set the oven to turn off when the timer is done, the residual heat will still overcook your food but at least it won’t incinerate it.
Pro tip: Next time try the timer that comes with an oven. Get the option with the siren alarm.
