I had a rough morning, was running late, sent a text to my boss telling him I’d be an hour late.and would be enter a leave slip when I got there. no problem.
When I arrive at.workk I was still agitated with outside-the-office stuff on my mind.
The usual clowns at work were standing around chatting and laughing at tiktoks. The usual shit.
I’m thinking “here I am going to enter a PTO leave slip for the last hour while these clowns have been on the clock doing nothing.
It doesnt usually bother me but today it did. So to vent, I sent my wife a text about these clowns in the next room doing nothing and sharing kinda racist tiktoks where the whole office could hear.
Venting made me feel a bit better even though my coworkers werent really the problem.
Then I realized i hadn’t texted my wife. I had texted my boss…who was one of the clowns in the next room.
TL;DR I misdirected a rude communication about my coworkers.
