TIFU the day I had a super embarrassing moment in front of my banker

r/

Last summer, on my way home from work I went to the bank to deposit a check.
I take this opportunity to ask the secretary. (there was an intern next to her who will be at the forefront of this situation) how to activate my banking application because I had forgotten my password.
(I had just bought a new phone)
she explains to me how to do it, I try but in vain so after 2 or 3 attempts, I still cannot access the famous page.
I then show her my phone with the application open, telling her that I can’t find the thing in question that she’s asking me to click on.
so she borrows my phone to see more clearly
indeed, she realizes that she has to go to the bank’s website to access the tab… she clicks on access the website.
since I had a crappy plan and the connection that goes with it, the thing takes a while to load. she stays in front of the screen for 3 seconds then gives me the device back, telling me that I will have to try it when I have a better connection. It’s at this moment that I realize that on the home page, there was a beautiful yellow and black tab in “frequently visited sites”. (I had to test the quality of this new screen)
There follows a moment where she acts like nothing and then throws a few words at me about the failed procedure. It lasted 30 seconds before we said goodbye and I went outside to die of shame but believe me it was intensely long. Well, I didn’t go back to the bank for several months after that.
TL;DR my banker saw my history when I asked her how to recover my password

I’m sure she’s seen worse. A funny teachable moment, but nothing irreparable!
