Alright, so I’m in bed trying to sleep (and I cannot sleep) so I thought to share my story.
On my cellphone, I had multiple NSFW images/porn. I was kinda into them but then I’ve decided to delete them and were sitting on the Deleted Recently folder (I know, I had to remove them completely but I forgot).
So last week, my wife and I got into a fight and was mad at me because on some minor actions that I’ve missed to do during our trip from the previous week (like cuddling, grabbing her hand and so on). And I didn’t agree with that statement as I did these things and more, and I felt that she was just bringing all the bad stuff without acknowledging the good stuff that I did.
After that discussion, I thought it would be a good idea to go to a couple therapy session together and she agreed. I thought at that moment that we were recovering from that fight. Oh boy… I was wrong!
On Saturday, we had sex, had a great time together at home. We went to our bed and I felt asleep with the lights on. Then during the night I wake up and noticed that my cellphone is right next to her (when I woke up I’ve felt the cellphone falling on the bed). So I took it and went to sleep.
When I woke up, took my cellphone back and saw that she opened multiple apps, including the Photos app and verified the Usage metrics, and she was using the Photos app for an hour.
As the Recently Deleted folder had Face ID I thought that she wasn’t able to open it. But I was so wrong, as she knew my passcode, so she opened it with that.
When she woke up, she talked to me but she was so distant. At first I though that she was tired, and I knew that she took my cellphone, so I’v made a couple of questions (like if she slept well and early) to see if she brings the topic to talk. She didn’t. She had the same attitude with me all day. And she even shared a post on her social media that said “Let’s normalize not having empathy to people that weren’t thinking about us when they were doing bad things without thinking the pain that will bring”. After I saw this, I needed to ask.
I’ve asked her what’s wrong. She didn’t wanted to tell me. So then I’ve asked about what she did to check on my cellphone. She only asked me if I had to tell her anything (I didn’t want to bring the topic of the photos, as they were on the Recently Deleted folder so I thought it wasn’t a big deal) so I told her that I don’t have nothing to discuss. And she replied that if there’s nothing to discuss, then everything’s “alright” and went to sleep.
TL;DR: A week after a fight, my wife took my cellphone and found porn on my Recently Deleted folder locked with my passcode and she doesn’t want to talk to me
