Time taken off my check

I’m a bartender in the state of location: Washington. I was told to clock out for the 5 minutes it took me to run across the street and buy a redbull during my shift. I came back to tickets that were rung in during the 5 minutes I was clocked out and had to make them as I’m the only bartender, functionally making zero difference in terms of me actually doing my work. Do I have any legal footing to press my boss about putting those 5 minutes back on my check? And before people get all puffy about the >$2 it is, if my boss cares that much about it so will I.
