When do you personally decide when to fight through the uncomfortably of something or just let it go and stop doing whatever it is that’s making you uncomfortable. This is a very minor example that made me think of this. Whenever I post a story on instagram I feel sick to my stomach. Paranoid. Embarrassed. All the feels. This seems so stupid but…maybe it’s not? Do I just stop posting or work on why posting might make me feel this way? Curious to hear opinions

If it’s holding you back from something you actually want, it’s worth fighting through. But if it’s just draining you with no real reward on the other side, it might be time to let it go. Ask yourself: is this fear or your intuition talking? Fear you challenge. Intuition you trust.
If posting on Instagram is important to you, then I’d definitely push on through.
Using myself as an example, I struggled with the idea of social media for a while. I especially struggled with the idea of posting reels.
However, I incrementally moved out of my comfort zone to get to the point where I became comfortable over time and now I enjoy it.
I don’t know where this stat originated, but moving 4% out of your comfort zone is solid advice.
Perhaps finding the equivalent of posting on social media in a way that’s just 4% out of your comfort zone would be helpful. Maybe sharing the posts of others qualified as 4%. Hope that helps you out!
Take a moment to reflect on why posting makes you feel this way. Consider what posting means to you. If you decide to confront your discomfort start with small, low stakes posts. Decide hoe much you want to share and what feels comfortable for you.
