Life’s greatest everyday honor is to show kindness and make a difference, no matter how small. Whether it’s helping someone in need or just sharing a smile .

My wife provides daycare for our 3 toddler grandkids. I am blessed to see them, and be part of raising them most days. When I arrive home from work everyday, I get to see them looking out the window and hear ” Grampa is home!!!” When I walk through the door, I get assaulted by our 2 monstrous Pitbulls, then get piled on by the kids who are so happy to see me. No matter how shitty the day or traffic has been, I’m the coolest guy on earth for at least 5 mins. Makes all the bad in the world disappear for at least a few minutes. For that I’m honored, and realize how great the little things in life are.

Being the parent that my kids need and deserve. I love my little guys so much and I’m so so proud of the young men that they are becoming.

Being alive. So many take it for granted.

We get warped into petty arguments and nonsense.

But we are here and present. Genuinely can’t describe how lucky we are just to have that. Not to mention at a time where we have the internet, easily accessible food & water, medical knowledge to stop us dying from basic things.

We are literally living the dream of everyone who lived before us past 100 years.
