[TOMT] 90s movie about the Gay scene in North America

I saw this movie about 20 years ago in University in the UK. It was a relatively low budget (no A listers iirc), and had from what I recall a few musical numbers.

The plot was about the HIV crisis within the Queer community, specifically gay men. The two main character were white guys in their 20s.

The main reason this movie stuck with me is there was one song which was done as if post-coitus the two men’s buttholes were singing to each other. Yeah, I know and it was even weirder in reality.
There were two fake naked bodies lying down on a bed (ass up of course) with the actors lying inside these two larger bodies and their mouths positioned where the assholes would be. So… yeah it looked like the two asses were singing. Which believe me will stick with you if you see it.

There was also either a song or a major plot point about Patient Zero.
