[TOMT] 90’s TV show I can’t for the life of me find.

r/

(First time using Reddit but I didn’t know where else to turn).

In the mid to late 1990’s on Ft. Hood Texas I was a lucky kid that had a television in their room. Of course I hooked by it warm glow. I saw shows that pre-internet me would try to remember forever and ask my peers about. Some they seen, others I had to wait and play internet detective for. There was one show that was burned into my memory that none else had seen or I can’t find on the web. 30 years may have muddled some of my memory.

It was a formated like a Believe it or not knock off. It had a single bald male presenter. While the show went from subject to subject it had a small, imp like version of him mucking about. I remember the imp being either fully red or blue. I’m pretty sure it was from Canada, as at the end that small guy graffitied the seal of the Canadian flag after the credits ran.

I know I didn’t imagine it because the only segment I can recall had a demonstration of Vastra Dhauti. That seared itself into my mind forever. How would a young me even know how to imagine that?

If anyone can help, thank you, to those that try I appreciate your attempt.

    Beyond Bizarre maybe?

There’s an old Nickelodeon show, Beyond Belief that ran from 1992 to 1994 hosted by Jay Potter. That’s about all the information available. Maybe if pictures of the host look familiar.

Do you think it might have been Mysterious Forces Beyond (1995)? The bald thing doesn’t work out in my memory of canadian shows just yet, but this show covered alot of these subjects.

So, from what I understand, the object of the Show was for some “bald presenter” to talk about various metaphysical topics, presenting them to the audience in a digestible and interesting way ??

Were the topics / subjects demonstrated live, or from separate footage?
