I remember the guy was going through the wall somehow (maybe escaping a prison cell or something), but then whatever gave him the ability to pass through walls (maybe a machine, I don’t remember) stopped working while he was half-way done, so his body ended up being split in half. And the scene was gruesome, obviously.
EDIT: I forgot to say that the show/movie is either made in 2010 or before, because I remember seeing this in 2010 as a kid.

I’m maybe off with that one but it made me think of Le Passe-Muraille which is a french movie about a shy employee that one day develop the power of going through walls. At the end he is stuck in the wall of a house for years.
