[TOMT] Abandoned shopping center surrounded by trees

r/

Around 2004 – 2009, I liked reading about abandoned malls/shopping centers and websites such as Labelscar and Dead Malls.

I remember reading about an abandoned shopping center around that time that was pretty unique, and I can’t remember where it was or what it was called.

It was a two story shopping center, and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t enclosed like a mall. Instead, all of the stores opened to the outside. There were a lot of trees surrounding the building, almost like it was built in a forest.

I seem to remember that it wasn’t just a regular looking rectangle building, but instead had a unique shape. It was located in the USA, but I don’t remember which state. It was not Dixie Square Mall nor was it Forest Fair Mall. I think it was abandoned in the 80s or maybe early 90s.

I know it’s a stretch, but does anyone know what I’m talking about?

I believe it had an outdoor staircase. It might have had a Sears store.
