This has been driving me crazy for years. About 10 years ago on Pandora there was a song by a folk artist that I really liked. It was on Tom Petty radio. I remember that the artist had collaborated with Tom Petty or a member of the heartbreakers at one point. The album cover was a sepia picture and I think there was an American flag on it. The only lyrics I can somewhat remember are “she’s my lady and I’m her man” or it might have been “she’s my baby and I’m her man”. Can anyone please help me end this torture. Thanks in advance

The artist was younger than Tom Petty or any of the Heartbreakers

Are you sure it came out in the 2010s and not before? It seems to match She Is My Lady by Dan Hill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfyHqYZ9F4I
she’s my baby by the traveling wilburys?

She’s my lady and I’m her man by Ingvar Estrada?
