There was a movie or TV show that used “Easy (Like Sunday Morning)” as music that played over a violent fight scene (non-diegetically). I think the violence was being done by a protagonist, possibly in montage, possibly in slow motion. I thought it might have been Umbrella Academy or Baby Driver but couldn’t find the scene I’m remembering.

(Non-diegetically = not actually playing within the context of the scene; the characters can’t hear it.)

Umbrella Academy used Instanbul as the soundtrack in a particularly violent scene, which is probably what you’re thinking of.
I love these kinds of juxtaposed scenes, but can’t think of one that used Easy
IMDb has Easy on the soundtracks to Baby Driver and Super 8.
Deadpool? (or one of the sequels)
I’ve been through all of Lionel Richie’s soundtrack credits on IMDb and not found it. I’m wondering if it was used in a trailer, which sometimes use music not in the final released version.
