The book’s title had something to do with dandelions/flowers growing through cracks of the sidewalk/concrete. It was about a young girl whose father was in prison. I’m like 90% sure the flower was a dandelion because I believe that was what her father called her. I read the book sometime around 2012/2013 but it could have been published before that. It was not a poetry book, which is what pops up when I Google. It was definitely a children’s novel/chapter book.

If it helps at all I’m pretty sure the cover was an illustration of a flower growing out of the sidewalk, and maybe the child’s feet?

I think it might be this… I’ve never read it but there’s a review/summary that lines up. And dandelions on the cover!
Edit: title is Sunny Holiday
