The scene I saw was a woman gets brought before some guy on a bench amongst some flowers/trees in an open courtyard kind of place and he more or less says, “you’ve done horrible things to me/my group/whoemever, and I understand. So, in response, I’ve erased everyone that has ever known you existed.” E.g., she no longer has any kind of legacy which seemed important to the guy.
edit: I think specifically maybe she killed the dude’s heir/son, which is why he talked about legacy, that seems familiar to me but I’m not sure.

It seemed like it was a sci-fi movie but it could have been a series, I’m not entirely sure. I think there was possibly talk of multiverses, basically this emperor/ruler/whatever guy had reach across almost infinity or something. I can’t remember much more than that other than I saw the clip a few months ago, maybe 3-4 months ago.
I’d hazard a guess that it was a newer show based on the style and (my assumed understanding of) production values
Was something like that maybe in first season of The Witcher?
Foundation? From TvTropes:
>To punish Azura for her role in the plot that killed his son, the Galactic Emperor Cleon XIII orders the deaths of her entire extended family and everyone she’s ever had a significant relationship with. She herself lives, but is to spend the rest of her life life in complete sensory deprivation.
>Cleon: Your legacy has been erased, Azura. Whatever minute waves your being managed to propagate throughout the universe have been canceled out.
