[TOMT][TV][1990s or 2000s] TV show where a group of teenager/young adult fighting giant monsters with a time travel subplot

i watched this on a Vietnamese channel , but the actor and setting is obvious western so it is not a local show, and since the show is dub i am not sure which country its in exactly but most of the cast is white , also i am certain its not The Troop (2009) or Power Ranger

the setting is in morden (90s ,early 2000s) time and in a small town

the premise is that the main villain is an old evil genius ( who has the typical look with messy hair and white lab coat ) , and he build a machine that can turn normal animal into big monster , and they keep getting loose and attack the town , one of the first monster is a giant crocodile/aligator, also later on he meet an female electrican who end up become his sidekid

The main cast is a small group of young people (the actor look 17 or older ) who use a machine which shoot a beam that either turn the monster back or destroy them, the machine and the team uniform look like the original Ghost Buster , but in slightly different color, also atleast one of them is a girl with blond or brown hair instead of all male

The subplot is about the main cast keep finding items like news paper and radio record that come from the future and tell them about what the monster of the episode is and hint at how to defeat them , and later on some of them tell news a bout a apocalyse timeline where the monsters won and cause destruction beyond their hometown, i didnt finish the show so i dont know how it end
