I had unprotected sex on July 16 and missed my period on August 1. A home test showed positive. I didn’t go to a clinic but took an abortion kit (MTP) on August 6–7 as advised by someone from a medical store.
After the second pill, I passed a small clot and gray tissue, then only light bleeding and no major pain. Most people say heavy bleeding and pain are normal, but I didn’t have that.
Could the abortion still be incomplete? Or was it just light because it was early?
If any gynecologist sees this, please help me out. And if anyone has had a similar experience, please share. I’m not looking for “see a doctor” replies—just real experiences or expert thoughts.
Thanks

Honestly, everyone’s body reacts differently, especially early on. Light bleeding can be totally normal, but you should still get checked to make sure it’s fully done and nothing’s left behind.
Sometimes it is hard to know whether something is normal or we should be worried. I know in Canada there is a phone number we can call and talk to a nurse practitioner if we have rando questions.
They usually will ask a few questions and let us know what to look for or if we should seek medical attention or not.
Maybe your county has the same thing?
Could be more reliable information than reddit.
You can do some searches for free or low cost clinics to go to. It’s discreet and they’re usually really helpful and quick. They could give you a quick exam to make sure everything is good and then you’re good to go. Just to be safe!
