Colorado has rules regarding the return of personal items in towed vehicles. However, the circumstances of the tow can affect the return of items. Why was your vehicle towed? Where was it towed from, was it a private lot like at an apartment building?
NAL. Did you try calling your vet and Doctor and explaining the situation? You need to ask your vet and doctor for replacement meds until your next appointment. Both of your medications are life saving and neither of you can go without them.
Also, if those medications have been in the heat, they may be ineffective now. Ask your pharmacist about storage and temperature requirements for all of the medications you can’t get access to.
